Bright and early Wednesday the 20th Wyatt went in to get his cast on.
(enjoying breakfast in the waiting room)
He was so good while they had to take off the soft cast and get him ready for the hard cast. Wy and Daddy picked out the green one. They didn't have camo, but if they did I know our little guy would have loved playing hide and seek with that:)
His poor little leg had so many creases and wrinkles from the soft cast so they put a little extra padding around those parts just to make sure they didn't become too irritated.
We kept him full of milk and teddy grahams the whole time to keep him from wiggling and falling off the table.
He was such a trooper!!! We go back in 2 weeks to take xrays through the cast to make sure everything is healing right. After about 4-5 weeks the cast will come off and he will most likely have a boot to wear for a little while. Right now he gets so frustrated because he hasn't figured out how to stand yet...but I think he'll get there:) He's a tough little guy!!!
