Our little walker enjoying some fun in the grass:)
The sandbox....extreme fun for kids...extreme pain for moms because of the sand that seems to find its way into our home:)
Tuck wasn't quite sure what to think about the sand and toys...

His "So Big" has morphed into "I can't hear you!"
 My blue eyed baby boy!
 Wyatt's constant request "BIG SWING!!"

37 Weeks...

We are now at 37 weeks which is considered full term for our little peanut. Today we took a trip to the doctor and got to see the baby and Wyatt got to see his little playmate too. But, he was much more interested in his treat cup:) Our official due date is March 30, but the sonographer said that the baby is measuring about 7 1/2 lbs right now. Since babies can gain about 1/2 lb a week that could mean that this little guy is just as big as his big brother was!!! 9 1/2 lbs!!!! So, if you feel so inclined to pray that he makes his appearance sooner rather then later, it would be much appreciated:)

A trip to Muppet Land...

Wyatt and Mommy took a trip to the local museum today. It is a little sad to know that soon these spur of the moment trips where my focus is 100% on my little guy won't be so easy or frequent:( But, to know that my little guy will soon have a playmate and to see them grow together and enjoy each other through the years makes it alright:) We enjoyed about an hour of fun as we walked around and checked out the new "Jim Henson Muppets" exhibit. Wy really liked the puppets and playing in the puppet station! We had to whole place almost completely to ourselves which meant that this toddler pretty much got to do whatever he wanted:) It was a great nap time that afternoon:)

(Wyatt and Mommy's faces in the pins...he had lots of fun running around and hitting them back in:)

Kermit the Frog!

He knew who these 2 were:)

Getting to build his very own puppet face:) Well, tear them all down actually!

Saying 'hi' to the Elmo look-a-like

Putting the faces on us!

Cheering on Spring!!

This little boy and his parents are ready for springtime fun! The weather was just warm enough to go out in the backyard and enjoy some playing with sticks and running around and getting mud on the jeans:)

Another joy of March springness is that Daddy doesn't have to work on Saturday mornings!! What a joy to my heart to have my 2 favorite men home enjoying some quality Veggie Tales time and eating yummy pancakes together.

On a funny note...Wyatt is scared of Mr. Lunt from Veggie Tales!! In the song "His Cheeseburger" whenever he sees him he gets a little poochy lip and starts to tear up and then has to find a lap to snuggle into til the song is over! So cute!!

First Mother's Day!

So happy to enjoy a beautiful first Mother's Day with family this weekend! Jonathan's parents and sister and her friend made a surprise visit on Saturday night after Allison's graduation from Calvary and we were able to enjoy guests in our new home!
It was so nice to be able to visit and celebrate Mother's Day all together:) We enjoyed some Chili's lunch after church before his family headed out. That afternoon we also went on a walk at a local park and enjoyed the nice dry weather!

What a sweet day to be reminded of my little man and the joys of motherhood:)

Baseball and Star Wars, Huh??

Our local single A baseball team is the Peoria Chiefs and on Saturday night we had tickets to see them play and enjoy some fireworks afterward. On our way to the game we were listening to some pregame stuff and they were saying that Star Wars was going to be at the game! Who knew Darth Vader liked baseball?!?
Wyatt got to enjoy fireworks for the first time...the loud bangs and flashing lights didn't bother him a bit!

Our little family of 3 getting some quality time together:)

A Time of Dedication

Here are a few pictures from the weekend that our families came in town to be here for Wyatt's dedication. It was so wonderful to have them all here at the same time!

RV Fun and preparing for SPRING!!!

Jonathan finally had a Saturday off!! So today we definitely made the most of it. We slept in (well, as much as a 7 month old would let us:), we ate waffles and breakfast burritos for breakfast, then off we headed to the RV Show down town. Wow, that about sums up just how amazed we were. Not at the RV's but at the prices that people would pay to go 'camp' in a home on wheels! Some of these things had their own living room with a full couch, big screen t.v., big bathroom and full kitchen!! They were nicer than our house!!!! Maybe we're old fashioned or just extremely frugal or just plain love to 'rough it', but I don't think that would be our #1 choice when we want to get out and enjoy a little of God's creation. But, it was pretty fun going through them and being amazed at what they can put on wheels:) There were also toys for the boys...huge hemi trucks, sports cars,

...and some pretty neat ATV's that Wyatt wanted to test drive

This great weather inspired Jonathan to give the garage its Spring cleaning too. We found Wyatt's hiking pack and now we can't wait to put it to good use!!! He looks so cute just hanging out behind Daddy's head:)
