We're Baaack!!!

We aren't sure if that is a good thing or not though. Our vacation was great!! We were able to see you so many amazing things and experience so much together and make great memories! Our trip out there was uneventful, good thing! We stayed in Moab UT for 4 nights at the dustiestcampground ever!!! The first night we arrived we were being hit by about 20-30 mile an hour winds which caused the red dust to cover EVERYTHING!!! We ended up taking our tent down and shaking out our bedding and sleeping the back of our car!

We did some awesome hiking through some really cool trails! I think we tried to total how many miles we probably did, which was around 15 or so! We hiked in Arches NP, Canyonlands NP,Dead Horse State Park, and Negro Bill Canyon while we were in Moab.

Our last night to camp was at Goblin Valley State Park, which was about 45 minutes west of Moab. It was in the middle of nowhere with lots of cows to enjoy on the way:) We ended up sleeping in the car that night too because it was so windy and it was going to be about 20 degrees that night!! We woke up to ice covered windows on the INside!

We left on Friday night to drive to Denver to our hotel and saw lots of snow!! We enjoyed a nice warm shower and bed for the first time in a while and then on Saturday morning we drove to Hillsboro through rain and snow...at the end of March!!! But, we made it safely and I even got our laundry done at my parent's house:)

Just so you know...we are going to our next doctor's appointment on Thursday and this should be the one to find out the gender!! Only about 4 more months to go before we get to hold our little one in our arms!!!

Getting Ready!

Well, we are getting ready for our long drive out west to Moab, UT. Last night we hit the stores for a little grocery shopping to stock up on yummy snacks for the drive. We also ordered a new camera in the beginning of the week that came in yesterday so we have been playing around with that a lot too! It is pretty fun because this camera will take a video with sound!! To us this is pretty cool because our last one would only do video plus it would only take a video for about 20 seconds:) Jonny also set up our tent in the back yard to "make sure it is ready for the trip and that we know how to put it up." I think he was just really excited to have a new tent and just had to set it up one more time:) It is a 6 person tent which will be so nice to not have to crawl in all the time and it has 2 vestibules for storage! We don't have to leave our clothes in the car anymore:)

Jonny has been healing really well. He still is going in for the blood tests but he is able to walk so much better! He almost walks without a limp now! We are taking crutches on the trip just in case though:) I didn't think it would be smart for a pregnant lady to try and carry a gimpy hubby 5 miles back to the car if something should happen!:)

Our pregnancy has been going well. I still don't have too many 'bad' symptoms. One thing that I really love is that I can eat anytime I am hungry! Whether it's first thing in the morning or 9:30 at night! That is lots of fun:) We are 19 weeks now and hoping to find out what the baby is in April. We have the appointment on April 2, so hopefully our little peanut will cooperate so we will know blue vs. pink!

Free at last!!!

Well, Jonny is home from the hospital today. The doctor released him and put him on coumadin (sp?) for the next 4-6 months. He will also being going in regularly for blood tests. He is still gimping around the town but hopefully all will heal quickly for him now that the blood clots are taken care of! We have planned a vacation to Moab, UT in 3 weeks and there is a lot of hiking involved so we are praying that he heals quickly!!!! Thanks so much for all your prayers and support! It was so comforting to know that you were praying for us and encouraging us as he went through all this! We love you!
