Spring has Sprung!!

Now that the weather has finally been so nice we have been spending lots of time in the back yard. Wyatt's favorite toy of choice: sticks and rocks!! He just wanders around the yard with his little hands full of treasures! In these photos he discovered the joy of digging in the dirt:) He is definitely boy through and through!! I can just see me blowing through stain remover for the next few years:) I wouldn't have it any other way either!!

Daddy and Wyatt Go On An Adventure

What a fun day these two had at the park!! While I enjoyed an entire Saturday at the Hearts at Home conference these two had some fun adventures together! I wish I could have been there, but then again my time at the conference was such a blessing. I came back home with a few pages of notes and feeling refreshed and encouraged in my role as a mom that stays at home. I loved being able to hear all the fun details from Jonathan about what they did while I was away too.

A couple of afters...

The bathroom is finally finished and it is so nice to finally not be stepping over tools, drop cloths, paint pans, and piles of debris:)

37 Weeks...

We are now at 37 weeks which is considered full term for our little peanut. Today we took a trip to the doctor and got to see the baby and Wyatt got to see his little playmate too. But, he was much more interested in his treat cup:) Our official due date is March 30, but the sonographer said that the baby is measuring about 7 1/2 lbs right now. Since babies can gain about 1/2 lb a week that could mean that this little guy is just as big as his big brother was!!! 9 1/2 lbs!!!! So, if you feel so inclined to pray that he makes his appearance sooner rather then later, it would be much appreciated:)

A trip to Muppet Land...

Wyatt and Mommy took a trip to the local museum today. It is a little sad to know that soon these spur of the moment trips where my focus is 100% on my little guy won't be so easy or frequent:( But, to know that my little guy will soon have a playmate and to see them grow together and enjoy each other through the years makes it alright:) We enjoyed about an hour of fun as we walked around and checked out the new "Jim Henson Muppets" exhibit. Wy really liked the puppets and playing in the puppet station! We had to whole place almost completely to ourselves which meant that this toddler pretty much got to do whatever he wanted:) It was a great nap time that afternoon:)

(Wyatt and Mommy's faces in the pins...he had lots of fun running around and hitting them back in:)

Kermit the Frog!

He knew who these 2 were:)

Getting to build his very own puppet face:) Well, tear them all down actually!

Saying 'hi' to the Elmo look-a-like

Putting the faces on us!

Cheering on Spring!!

This little boy and his parents are ready for springtime fun! The weather was just warm enough to go out in the backyard and enjoy some playing with sticks and running around and getting mud on the jeans:)

Another joy of March springness is that Daddy doesn't have to work on Saturday mornings!! What a joy to my heart to have my 2 favorite men home enjoying some quality Veggie Tales time and eating yummy pancakes together.

On a funny note...Wyatt is scared of Mr. Lunt from Veggie Tales!! In the song "His Cheeseburger" whenever he sees him he gets a little poochy lip and starts to tear up and then has to find a lap to snuggle into til the song is over! So cute!!

Weighing in at....

Wy had his 18 month check-up and what a trooper he was! It was so cute because he had to be just in his diaper for it all and he had so much fun running around the room with his baseball and in his socks and diaper! He has such a sweet disposition! Jonathan and I look at him every day and are just amazed at how blessed we are with such a sweet kid!

His current stats are: height 33 1/4 inches tall (73%), weight 26 lbs (54%), and head circum. 48.8 inches (75%). With the cute little belly on this man you would have thought the weight would have been more:)
He fell over while in his chair...didn't quite know if he should cry or not!

I think he decided to just relax and enjoy the different view:)

A little reno...before

My dad came back up again just 3 short days after leaving from the weekend to help us renovate our bathroom. Once again, not very good with the pics....but there are a few and I forgot the before demo ones too:( We are still working on it but the major stuff is finally done! Jonny and Dad worked so hard for about 4 days to get it all together. I am so thankful for these talented men in my life:)

(This is a picture of where the old medicine cabinet used to be...there was a hole in the back of it so you could throw your used razor blades away back in the old days. When they pulled it off there was literally a pile of a bunch of blades with more actually that were in the wall!!! Weird!)

(Of course, there had to be some special time made for Gramps and Wy to hang out...after Gramps left Wyatt would run around looking for him with his hands out and saying "Where" sooooo cute!)

A Visit from Grammy and Gramps!

Grammy and Gramps came up for a quick visit last weekend. I didn't really get too many pics of them here:( But, Wyatt sure enjoyed his time with them! They blessed us with some staples for our pantry, clothes for Wyatt and even a cool tool shop play set that he really loves the hammers from:) He likes to play croquet with them!

(Our little mooch! Always seems to be begging food:)

(Enjoying his new bathrobe and tool workshop!)

(Givin' so lovin' to Gramps:)
