Tucker is ONE!!

Look who's ONE!!!
One year old!!!  My baby is one!!!
His sweet milestones in the past month:
*he's a walker...that has been his official choice of transport for about a month now
*he is also a climber!!!  Nothing is safe anymore because if he can climb it he will - over and over and over and over:)
*All done nursing! Just Vit. D milk for this big boy
*First word...Momma!!!!  Be still my mommy heart:)
*word number 2. "bye" 3. "ba" (translation..ball:)
*he loves to clap, wave bye while saying bye, give 'high fives'
*He is such a relaxed and fun little boy. Laughs and smiles all the time and absolutely still
 ADORES his big bro:)
*fascinated with rocks...just like his bro:)
*He's pretty consistent sleeping from from 8:30 to around 7:30 each day now
*Weighs around 23 lbs.
Nothing like a Lego cake to make a fun day even better:)
MMMMMMmmmmmm....yummy sweetness and goodness all in my mouth. I do believe in this picture there are 2 big marshmallows in there...Chubby Bunny Champ in the making:)
Fresh from a bath and opening his presents...he seems to have really liked it all :):)
We are so absolutely completely in love with this sweet gift from God and feel so blessed and privileged to have him as part of our family!!!!!  We love you Tucky Poo!!!!!

how we roll in spring...

Our little walker enjoying some fun in the grass:)
The sandbox....extreme fun for kids...extreme pain for moms because of the sand that seems to find its way into our home:)
Tuck wasn't quite sure what to think about the sand and toys...

His "So Big" has morphed into "I can't hear you!"
 My blue eyed baby boy!
 Wyatt's constant request "BIG SWING!!"
Tuck wants in on the action too:)
Daddy and Wyatt working on getting our new vegetable garden all ready!!!!  He had lots of fun finding worms in the mud:)

Thanks Babe:)

Pinterest has probably become my hubby's worst nightmare:)  If you have not checked it out I would highly advise you to give it a go for a little while:)  I have definitely filled my "Honey Do" list with some projects not only for my hubs but for me as well.   One of the things about me is that I love to reorganize and redecorate all over our home.  Call it a sickness, obsession, whatever you want.  But, I get such great joy out of seeing a drawer full of neatly folded clothing, a closet that is hung with clothes according to season, a basement that is "everything with a place, everything in its place."
All of this to say....Pinterest gave me another great idea that I "just had to try":)  A while ago I redid our bedroom from reds to yellows....I am still in love with the bright colors and more inviting, spring-like look...but I really wanted a new duvet cover...which can be boo-coo bucks!  Just for 2 sheets sewn together!!!!  Enter my trusty sewing machine and some king sized sheets....equals a new duvet cover that is even reversible.  Which hopefully will help solve my desire to redo something every other  month:)
I used this tutorial here to make it happen.

Now when the urge to revamp calls...just flip it!!
Thanks babe for putting up with all my "re"ing:):)

Favorite Places

There is a new favorite place in our house to hang out...it is cozy, warm, a little secretive and just plain exciting:)  It would be right here....behind the couch cushion that Wyatt especially has found his niche:)
Wyatt will crawl back here multiple times a day to read books, watch TV, play with his cars, or just get away from the little busy body-destructo called Tucker:)
Looks like he just might need to find a new sanctuary!!

Chicago Fun!

We took a quick day trip up to Chicago to visit with Grandma, Auntie KK and Uncle Josh.  It was such a fun trip and the kiddos did amazingly fantastic being in the car for so long and also our long walks around the city and no real naps in a cozy warm bed...fantastic:)
We spent most of our time at the Shedd Aquarium.  Wyatt absolutely LOVED it!!!!  His favorite parts were:
seeing the "BIG WHALE!" swim up close!
Watching the fun and fast penguins with Grandma:)
Getting to see a real live 'Nemo'!!
Just being able to hang with some pretty cool people:)  We are so blessed and glad that we have such easy-going and laid back kiddos. That is a tiring trip for adults, much less a toddler and a baby:)
