11 Months!!!

AAAHHHH!!!! That means it is only one month til this adorable little boy is ONE!!!  Where did my baby go?  I cannot believe all the fun things that he is up to this month:

*waving bye-bye
*clapping
*"So Big!"
*can take about 5 steps all on his own:)
*his 3rd tooth FINALLY came through...though now the 4th tooth is putting in its 2 cents and making the drool stream again:)
*he gives such sweet and sloppy open mouthed kisses to us!!!
*loves to say da-da-da
*he really does eat just about everything...except pasta...that little tongue knows just how to get all the yummy sauciness off the pasta and then the pasta usually finds its way to the floor:)
*he takes 3 bottles a day now and just nurses right before bed
*it was finally time for his first little trim of the baby blonde hair....
here he is with his little angel wings over his ears and the uneven bangs...
it's a little hard to tell but the "after"...with the added "So Big" trick that he is so good at:):)  He is just so sweet I could eat him up!!!!!

This is how Tucker usually looks as he tools around the house....a ball in hand, drool on the shirt, and at least one shoe and sock off...most of the time both shoes and socks off:)  He is the master of naked toes:):)

A pictureless trip and fun in the sun:)

A couple weeks ago Jonny spent a week in Indiana at a biblical counseling conference for his job...and being the scardy cat that I am I didn't want to spend a whole alone.  So, the boys and I took ourselves to St. Louis for a week:)  We stayed with my sister the whole time -they just adopted their sweet little new Brock who we finally got to see. He was only 4 weeks old and sooooo tiny and sweet!!!  There were 4 kids in that house all under 3 years old....can you say loud and crazy!!  The cousins all enjoyed each others company, but I think by the end of the week there was definitely some much needed time apart called for:)
While we were there my dad, me and the boys made the 4 hour journey to Branson to visit with my most favorite aunt in the world!!!!  Aunt Sharon really enjoyed the boys and I think they enjoyed seeing her too! We left at 6 am then came back the same day and got home around 7 pm. A long trip in one day, but the boys were amazing and it was definitely worth the logged hours on the road:)
We had a nice sunny day last Sunday so we took advantage of it and went on a very muddy hike in the park...not everyone came away clean.
Um, that would be me....slippery and muddy...but at least Tucker stayed clean. It seems his favorite thing to do our hikes is sleep:)

Tucker's Dedication

Our sweet little man was dedicated at church February 12.  We have been blessed with such a good and sweet baby in Tucker Paul. We need to always remember that he is a gift from our God and that it is our responsibility as his parents to train him up in the Lord. It is a big responsibility but with God's help and direction we pray that we may be successful in our roles as his mommy and daddy.
He did so well up there in front of so many people!  While Pastor Ritch held him he decided that he wanted the paper he was holding and also wanted to fiddle with the pastor's microphone...at least he was quiet during prayer:)
