books, books, books!

So it seems that we have a little book worm on our hands. It is not unusual to have Wyatt bring us book after book asking us to read it to him. One of the first things he says when we get him up in the morning or from his nap is "Book. Read book."
He is obsessed!! He has 3 places that he gets to keep his books...his room, dining
room and living room.
So just for fun, to see what he would do we took all his books and put them away! He doesn't seem to mind too much. He has finally remembered that he has toys to play with:)

3 Months

Another month has passed and these cute little cheeks are just growing and growing:) Tucker is definitely a hearty eater and his little rolls testify to that!

Some fun things that are now happening:

*He is such a smiley little guy!! So quick to give a gummy grin. I love when we get him out of bed in the morning and are greeted with that great big smile!
*He is a hand sucker! If he can find his fist/fingers he just goes to town...makes me wonder if it will continue* He still refuses a paci for the most part; you have to hold it in for him
*He is standing on his cute chubby little legs a lot better now...looking at the world from an upright view:)
*He is on the move...once he gets those little legs kicking he scoots himself right around! No more time on the couch unattended for him!
*He is starting to 'talk' to us now! Giving us his opinion in goos and coos....love it!
*This little guy is still getting up at least twice a night to nurse...uuggghhh! He slept through the night a couple of weeks ago...he is such a tease!
*He is watching us more closely. As we walk around in the room his little blue eyes will follow us so intently!
*He seems to have such a sweet disposition! He is pretty content and happy most of the time and really just relaxes...no high strung boy here:)

Father's Day in Pictures...

This Daddy just wanted a nice simple day filled with his family. I love to see him 'father' his children! God has surely blessed me and my boys with a man who loves God first and his family second. That makes for one amazing man:)

After some yummy jalapeno brats and homemade fries we rushed out of here to watch Jonny play softball. He had a pretty cute cheering section:)

Later that evening we headed over to a church swim and had a great time cooling off in the pool and eating corndogs.

God has also blessed us with amazing fathers. Men who would do anything for their children and men who raised their children to strive hard after God. What a privilege it is for us to call them our 'dads'!!
