Three Years!!!!

It was only three short years ago today that we were saying our vows and committing our lives to one another for "as long we both shall live." In three short years we sure have made a lot of beautiful memories:) Today we figured out that we have officially been a significant part of each others lives for 5 1/2 years!! To celebrate today in the midst of a busy schedule we decided that lunch and movie were in order:) Then off to some yummy Coldstone cookie dough ice cream! It is kind of funny to think that before we were married we had grand ideas of how each anniversary would be celebrated...elaborate, romantic, etc. However, when you live your life with your best friend and get to do those special things on a regular basis, without any special reason except you love them...the anniversary just seems that much sweeter to celebrate life together! We are so thankful for the years God has given us and the way that He has faithfully led our feet down His path. We are so blessed to rest in the arms of a Saviour we can trust with our very lives. To know that He specifically prepared each of us for the other, knowing our strengths and weaknesses, how blessed to be with the 'perfect mate'. Thank you Lord for our 3 years (plus all those dating and engagement months:)
